pöm Jewelry
Being the geek that I am, I started making jewelry from recycled Apple keyboard parts. After designing the packaging and business cards, printed at home on my inkjet printer, the idea caught on quickly, and wound up with a fun summer business project.
There are numerous buttons and phrases that I have made, including “power”, “nom nom”, “apple+z” (undo), “apple+q” (quit), “apple+option+esc” (force quit), “wtf ftw”, “volume up/down”, and more. These are all sold through the Illini Apple Center on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. (Summer 2008)
