Bio

I’m an extremely enthusiastic web designer, and do my best to approach my work with the ultimate trifecta of form, function, and strategy. I believe that the combination of art and science (design and code, visual and copy, peanut butter and jelly, etc) makes for a stronger and more beautiful world.

I’ve learned to appreciate the importance of strategical thinking through earning a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois, as well as the elegance of language and cultural communication with a second degree in Spanish. I find that being active in strong communities is extremely rewarding. I’m currently involved in ACM SIGGRAPH, AIGA SF, and am a co-founder of Champaign-Urbana’s Design Org.

While I’ve traveled all over the world, I’ve recently settled down in San Francisco and could not be happier. I’m currently working at Make Magazine and donating part of my time to a local non-profit. I’m currently not taking on any new work, but am always on the lookout for new stories, friends, and adventures.

This site is constantly changing, as I grow and expand my knowledge of the web. If you notice anything funky or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

All designs and projects on this site were made by me, unless otherwise specified. This site is running on a WordPress backend, with a custom-built theme. Coded with Coda, designed and caffeinated with the loving atmosphere at CitizenSpace
